Doesn't it look like he talks out of his rear end though? Maybe honesty is the best policy but on a logo? ;) :p

I like the avatar too ... Always good to help people remember you if you have a funky avatar ... But it makes it difficult to change your avatar / branding later on sometimes.

Think of it less as an avatar and more or a company mascot.

You can change them pretty easily. [citation needed]

And I finally sorted out the new cards.

I went for 100 of my existing cards (I had to update the contact number due to an internal change to VoIP) and 100 of the cards based on the design from @SYSMAN_MK

I had to tweak is slightly to keep my general avatar in (so the main design is on the back) and they are, once again, on mini cards from Moo ...

I still prefer mini cards after trying out a few different option ... if nothing else, it means that I keep the bare bones of information on the card and people have to come to the various websites or email me. I also prefer the size for storage and love the mini card holder.

As always with these things (dropbox, etc) here is the blatant referral link.

I was going to set up a vanity shortener on one of my sites, but decided to stick with bit.ly even though it is a bit of a risk. I have been caught out before with .co but have a bit more faith in this one.

Must admit my domain is a .co (well one of them as I have actually got my name as a domain :D) and its usually blocked :(

Don't the NCC have rules on corporate branding?

I would imagine they have an issue if you turned up at work with your facepaint on.

I like the idea of the mini cards, but would be scared they'd end up like perfume / aftershave testers - screwed up at the bottom of your pocket.

The rules on corporate branding are more to do with how you use the logo etc ... there are some sites, etc which have their own identity and it is also to do with how you spend council money ... and since I paid for these myself ... :)

Because they are good quality card they don't end up screwed up in your pocket ... and getting the card holder was another good thing too.
