Huzzah! No, wait, thats wrong. Barstewards!

I got my bank statement through today, it was for an account I've not used in ages. There have been several £25 and £50 card payments made in one day to the tune of £300. They were made to "tabletonsa.com". I've phoned the bank, they've cancelled the card and I've now got to fill out a fraud claim.

Fun fun fun.

I was stung for almost £7000 about 4 years ago thanks to some complete barsteward in Miami. I've still no idea how he got hold of my credit card details as it has only ever been used with Paypal and the PC I used it on was clean/secure!

At least banks make it fairly painless, few phone calls, new card and a few months of monitoring my account to ensure it didn't happen again.

I don't have enough money in my account for this to happen, plus I don't have any cards... And no overdraft... Would be interesting to see if they could still defraud me.

It happened to me and as well as being taken overdrawn my bank thought it was good to charge me as well. Its to do with the card system and the way they did it was to do a transacton to say custermer not present and as it was in the eu they company made good on the payment and took funds from my account to the tune of £50 and due to the fact it was only 50 pounds there was no problem but it took me over my overdraft. and here is another fact for you did you know if a check is written for less than 40 pounds the check is automaticly paid and if funds are there it will go through. Test it out if you dont belive me. wright a check into one of you other acount in another bank or into you partners account for about 20-30 pounds and put a totaly randum sign on it and watch it get cashed ?? most banks will espically the big one lloyds is the worst the cashed a cheack of mine i did not even sign as i forgot but it still went through.
