Cheap and cheerful CCTV

Some little so and so decided to smash my car windscreen, police can do sweet FA but advised to get CCTV.

I was looking at cheap wifi PTZ cameras.

Anyone used one or could recommend one?

 

Needs to cover my car, outside at night under a lamp post.

My parents had some vandalism a few years back and we asked the police for advice on CCTV and were told that unless the picture quality of the cctv was amazingly clear and that the little **** could clearly be identified it was pointless as the courts would throw it out.

 

Instead i fitted some dummy cameras that look the real thing and the vandalism stopped. We have a £4000 cctv system here at school and at night you'd be able to watch what the little ***** were doing but you wouldn't be able to identify them

The damage is being done by known people, I just need to catch them. Its a very long and complicated story, wont end well for the next person who throws bricks/stones at my car!!
