Quackers Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Has anybody with the Sims Learning Gateway jumped from Sharepoint 2007 to Sharepoint 2010 yet? and if so How much did Capita charge? Was it a fresh install of Sharepoint 2010 and move stuff over or upgrade over top of existing Sharepoint 2007 install?
vikpaw Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I wouldn't want to do a migration even if it was possible. Clean install would be best. Move over the data that needs to shift. Plus you can run in parallel that way until it works. I would assume the charge is same as initial install for a clean setup.
Sylv3r Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 We moved from WSS 3.0 to Sharepoint 2010 on a fresh install. As Vikpaw has said, we were charged the same as an initial install other than the license fees (not via CAPITA however)
