Sibelius Registration issue

Hi there,

 

We currently have Sibelius 6 registered using a licence server. However the server has failed and will take a couple of days to repair. This unfortunately prevents us using sibelius as it cant contact the licence server.

 

Is there a way to alter the registration so that it stops looking at the registeration server and registers as if it was a standalone version.?

And how do I change it back when I get the licence server back on line?

The network edition requires the license server at all times, you could just make a new one on another server it only takes about 5 minutes to setup and is very lightweight, I have done that in the past and then just change the IP on the PCs to the new one as its a registry key that has those settings in it.
