Sharepoint ideas

Righty dokie matey peeps. At the moment we have an exchange server, a lync server, A moodle server and RDS. I'd like to tie it all up on a nice single sign on portal. Can someone point me in the right direct for sharepoint? , Which version? what's possible? Whats funky?

Here are supported authentication methods for Sharepoint 2010. It appears you can use LDAP and you can also use LDAP for Moodle too.

 

Lync server 2010 isn't something I've used myself, however this also seems AD friendly.

Maybe you are looking more at Forefront TMG/UAG - it allows single sign on to mulitple services.

 

I don't know how you expect to tie this into Lync though as it uses a software client with its own authentication built in.

Indeed - doing just this currently (excluding Moodle - and Lync is in testing).

yup, they're all internal and all are AD integrated. Ideally the portal would be sso from inside and out.

Well you wouldn't need a portal from inside right? as they're already AD integrated?
