smartboard floating tools - no icons

Is there a way to add back the default tools to the floating toolbar without reinstalling? Got a teacher who has the tab to drag the toolbar to one side of the screen or the other but no icons for starting notebook etc, just the tab.

If this is occurring on a Microsoft Windows computer with SMART Product Drivers installed, close SMARTBoardTools.exe in Task Manager > Processes. Then search for the location of: FloatingToolsSmall.xml.

 

On a Windows XP computer this XML file's default location is here: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\SMART Technologies\SMART Board Drivers. Delete this file and the other files within this specific SMART Board Drivers folder.

 

Restart SMART Board Tools and you should have the default Floating Toolbar restored. If this fix does not work, please contact SMART Support.
