Google Sketchup 8.0 Msi

Dear all,

 

Im looking for help as i need an .MSI for GoogleSketchup 8.0, i have searched the web and can only find an .EXE

I'm not sure about version 8, but some of the older version you can just unzip the exe with 7zip and low and behold there's an MSI in there.

Yup same works or failing that run the exe then scan temp folder

All i get when i run the .exe or .MSI is google bug splat errors.

 

When i choose a template and click start using google sketch up is these bug Splat page?

 

This is on WIN 7 or WIN XP

Try running

 

msiexec -i "\\yourserver\yourshare\yourfolder\GoogleSketchUp8.msi" /qn

 

EDIT: For some reason the forum is adding a space between GoogleSketchUp8 and .msi, you need to remove this.

Ok it turns out the profile i used was currupt.

 

so install is npw working my next question is how can i stop google toolbar installing with Google sketchup when i deploy to machines
