Granted not amateur ones, but professional ones, seen some clangers...if you like rugby hits, look up aussie rules football hits...my god some of those guys are looneys, and its no surprise that they go to rugby after a while for an easier time! lol

Here's a much better rugby video LYNX - Rules to Rugby. It's an Australian/New Zealand TV ad but I doubt that we'll see it here in Blighty. The Advertising Standards Bureau determined that the ad breaches section Section 2.1 of the code (The Board considered that the advertisement depicts the women as sexual objects) but did not ban it, as it is shown after the watershed.

I mean like unsportsmanlike idiots who try and get away with cheating. I've seen girls play rugby and they're a damn sight tougher than the majority of male footballers!

I play football aswell.... just rugby is so much better. and tends to be played by not as many thugs as football.

 

My opinion though.

Some football tackles are literally bone crunching (I've seen some where the bone has snapped cleanly) but they are always dirty tackles. Happened to my brother who now has a metal plate in his leg, so I will say there are occassions where the footy tackles are painful, but 90% of the time, footballers do go down easy.

Actually not. I don't like or follow either football or rugby. They are typical "I don't like footballers because a lot of them cheat at their own game" comments. I know not all of them do, but they appear to be in the minority.

This is true - especially at the higher levels. You tend to get more serious injurys through football then you do in rugby when you get bad challenges. The likely hood of a broken leg/ankle and collar bone in football is way above what rugby gets.
