mole Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Hi We have printers mapped by default for users via group policy and have no problems in any other apps. In IEP Writer V3 they are getting the no default printer selected message. I've added the printer direct from the print server not through group policy and was able then to print the IEP to it but this is not an option for these users any ideas?
Kyle Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 We have our printers set up as you do and use IEP and everything works fine. Are you using scripts inside a GPO or are you using Print Mamagement to deploy to GPO?
mole Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 GPO i believe. wierd thing is i can logon at another computer and print iep to another (but same make model) printer. so must be a computer problem I'm thinking
bladedanny Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Hi, Sorry to drag up an old thread but we're having the same problem and wondered if a cause was ever found? Thanks,
witch Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 We had the same issue - it was permissions on the folder on the computer 1
