There is footage of the landing and the bird that was tangled up flying away but I guess that's why you have a spare :cool:

 

I didn't mean I thought he'd died. I meant more the experience for a first time jump might have put him off

It wasn't an eagle (Bad Yahoo!!!) but a Himalayan Griffon Vulture

 

I thought it was a Norwegian Blue. :)

 

Paraglider Pilot: Help, there's f-ing great eagle caught in my lines.

 

Ground Control: Wait one whilst I get my binoculars.

 

Pilot: FFS! What can I do?

 

Ground Control: It doesn't look like an eagle, I'll just get my bird spotting book.

 

Pilot: Jeez, I'm going to die.

 

Ground Control: Ah here it is, it's a Himalayan Griffon Vulture.

 

Pilot: I don't give a s***. What can I do.

 

Ground Control 2: Deploy your reserve 'chute. Oops too late!

 

Ground Control: Oh look, there's a load more Himalayan Griffon Vultures circling overhead.
