Never mind. Someone point the right direction. Duh. Now I'm in process of installing the Win 7 on 40+ machines then do the GPO setup/reserved the nodes!
macsit Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 I deiced to test it with XP workstation to join the 2k8 domain and it won't let me. I pinged the server's ip and zero packet loss. Any idea what's wrong? Thanks!
ruddj Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Did you try to ping the servers DNS name? Is your Win XP client static IP or DHCP? If static does it have the DNS server set to server? If DHCP have you set DHCP server to distribute DNS server (006) and Connection DNS (015)?
