Good evening,

Just ran spiceworks for the first time on our CC3 network and one of the issue is that on my machine which is hosting spiceworks it picks up all the info about the machine. I have given a network username and password for the scan, but I think there is an issue with the WMI settings on the other workstations to allow the machines to retrieve their serial numbers etc. Is there a way to do change these via GPO?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

You may need to wait for a CC3 expert to come around - but it sounds like the firewall could be on - or something else (anti-virus?) is blocking spiceworks from collecting the info.

I've never used CC3/CC4 so not 100% sure what it changes!

Puts on his Victor Meldrew voice "I don't believe it!". Yesterday it didn't work was calling intel mobos pegatrons, just fired spiceworks up and hey presto, its now got all the information. I don't know what was happening, but all seem fine now!

Happy days and thanks for all your assistance!
