bigjb Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Our current pat tester (external contractor) is failing I-Macs on an earth bond test through the stand (These are 2010 Aluminium I-Macs) - I have spoken to both our reseller and other schools in the area about it and they have never heard of any issues. Am not 100% sure he is testing them right but need guidance from someone that may pat test I-Macs in particular. Anyone else had the same issue?
iSteve Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Seeing as the stand is a hinged component, would it not make more sense to test them through the body? All of our iMacs pass and we have dozens and dozens. 1
