I've just started to use GPP to deploy printers - alls fine with this but when users log out printers are not removed - when they login in the next place the next one is applied as default but they have about 20 printers in the list.

Probly a setting i've missed - anyideas?

I also have a "delete all" entry in position 1 of the list. Also setting your connections to "replace" rather than "update" should help.

If you have separate OUs for your different locations you can use Item-level targeting and link the GPO at the top level. This along with the "Remove when no longer applied" option ticked should work a treat, removing printers when they log onto a computer in a different OU.
