does anybody have a script which pulls all the rooms using the SimstoMRBS rooms report using command reporter?

 

if not does anybody know what the syntax would be as i've never used commandreporter before.

Check the other command reporter threads. There was one recently, and one from a while back, linked into that recent one.

Does the report require input? If not, then perhaps it's a little easier.

Usually, you would run it from command line with an output file specified to see the parameters it wants, then you can send these in via file or on the command line.

Would you be able to use schedule reports, or do you need the output saved somewhere ready to use?

You can get commandreporter to pull content out and save it to an XML file to import into MySQL. I have it doing all staff and student timetables once a week. It's just a case of setting up the report in SIMS and then a user to export the data.

Sorry resurrect an old thread, but SimstoMRBS report? Sounds interesting :) can anyone point me at it or send me a copy, I have googled to no avail.

The one I used at my previous place was a lot more customized after I did this. unfortuantly that script requires manual import for each room whereas we had it import the entire timetable.

I have tried to get this script working in the past but never managed, only takes me a few hours to import the timetable now, but still would be nice to automate the process.
