hi , has been working perfectly. went wrong today. when you touch screen the cursor sometimes moves where your finger goes, sometimes farther to left, thus opening unwanted programs. The usual orient screen and touching the red crosses does not work ie you cant touch them! the smart control panel on the laptop says board is working ok.

it is dsplaying ok but not accurately interactive. all cables in . not used to these its not that hand wrongly angled though - what do i look for next? could it have been caused by child fiddling with board or damaging it somehow?

Clean the camera lenses in the corners and the reflective stip around the inside edge.

thanks, i know it works via cameras, but i dont know how to find them to clean them

or which the reflective strip is

it just looks like,

the drawings in the smart support section dont seem to shpow either cameras or reflective strip

They are in the corners (either top 2 or all 4 - depends on the version you have) clean the lenses with a cotton bud - the strip runs around the inside edge of the frame next to the glass. Clean cloth to wip over this.

I'd suggest talking to Steljes (SMART's UK distributor - 08450 724999). The problem might be solved by re-running the DViT calibration (different to the normal orientation).
