mac_shinobi Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I have a power edge 830 and was just curious would it be better to get 1gig of pc4200 ddr2 ram for it or 1 gig of pc5300 ddr 2 ram for it and why should I get one over the other ?
Geoff Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Is this replacing or supplementing the ram that's currently installed. If your replacing it then get the fastest ram you can. If it's adding to it then get ram that's the same speed as the currently installed ram.
