dolphin hd?

you can get firefox for android but its designed for phones not tabs and as such looks pants and iirc dosent like flash)

To be honest, if it's the same in all the browsers, it's probably down to Android. We all now how great Android is at handling proxys. :doh:

what appout a proxy app maybe that can do better than the default system one?

Yep - going to try and root over the weekend to see if I can then load something in

Well - a bit of progress!

 

Opera has its own proxy settings and you can configure it to ignore proxy for specific IPs :)

Android Proxy

 

But....

 

... it doesn't seem to play back Flash videos (epresso ones anyway) :(

 

It runs the rest of the site ok - but no videos :(

The "flash" videos it doesn;t play are actually mpeg-1 :)

 

But anyway, I'd forgotton that, in my schools, the server that Espresso is loaded on is also a proxy server :doh: so setting its address as the proxy server (rather than the main county server) in the wi-fi settings means the default browser can be used for both Espresso and Internet :)
