Smoothwall Question

I am fairly new to smoothwall , and was wondering if i could ask other school admins that use the platform what settings they use for Dynamic Content Analysis setting trip limit.

 

I very happy with with the system but just intrested what other schools set there trip limit at for that particular filter on smoothwall.

 

 

Any advice appreciated.

Ours is set at 100 (I think the default?) and is blocking pretty much everything we need to - I am slightly tempted to make it a little bit harsher, but haven't done so yet.

Would avoid bothering with setting the trip limit, it causes only pain (for every useful symptom of changing it there are 10 irritations), to the extent it is going away in later versions of guardian.

 

Would welcome a call/email if you want to chat trip limits, blocking etc

Alright no need to get shirty just was surprised that's all I view and use this site quite a lot and normally get a response within minutes.

 

Please accept my gracious appologies for my jumping the gun as it were! I will of course take your advice and alter my behaviour from this point forward.

Wow set we ours at 200 and it's still heavy on the blocking (outside of categories) I have call booked with smoothwall next week hopefully get some advice.
