Install CC4 on new laptop

Apologies for my ignorance but I am new to this CC4 stuff.

 

I have a Stone System 276 laptop running Windows 7 Professional. It just has the initial build on it, isn't connected to the domain, and needs all of the RM CC4 stuff installing, along with SIMS.

 

Can anyone tell me how I need to set this up? Ideally I need to do it this morning, so any help would be appreciated. By the way, I have no idea where to start!

you can smartclient the laptop onto the network, RM have a tech article for it TEC1421182

 

Make sure you uninstall any antivirus and disable windows defender as they may interfere with the process!

 

Have a read and follow the instructions, it should be straight forward

Thanks for the response but I don't appar to have a login for the Knowledge Base, so I don't think that I can get at that article.

 

IS there another way of accessing it?

You need a subcription to RM, dont you just love technet

wouldn't it have been easier to just boot the laptop into the RM build client and rebuild it that way, rather than smartclienting it?
