mrbios Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 After some interactive whiteboard software to replace "Smart notebook express" We don't use smart boards and that software keeps breaking (multiple different issues i won't go in to, not interested in fixing them basically). The teacher wants to be able to, for example: Create a table with 2 columns and headings, have a bunch of pictures or words etc that people can come up to the board and drag the words in to the correct columns Just as a basic example of what we want to be able to do anyway, only quite simple requirements really. Can anyone suggest anything?

mrbios Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Going to bump this and see if anyone can give me any other suggestions now that the problem user has popped their head back up
cromertech Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 What boards do you have? You mentioned that they are not SMART anymore but whatever you have must have come with software.
mrbios Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Well the teacher that wants to use them is using two different whiteboards, one is a polyvision mesh type board, the other is an Eno board (think these are still made by polyvision, though i'm not certain) which is a magnetic type board. Both have different manufacturer supplied software which is why we haven't gone down that route. On another note....it's possible RM Easiteach might do what we want even though it's mainly used by our maths department it looks like the teacher in question may be able to use just a couple of features from it to do what she wants. Fingers crossed as it's already installed on all teacher PCs so that'd save me some hassle
