I am having a problem with laptops connecting to AP's all over the place, rather than connect to the AP in the room, they are picking AP's on the other side of the site.

Anyone know how to resolve this on Ruckus?

Thanks

Hi Disease,

could be a couple of things, how many clients in the room and what is the rough split between those connecting to the local AP and to the AP's elsewhere?

Thanks,

Hi mate,

There are only 32 clients in that room, the ruckus should be able to easily handle these, infact they were fine last year, the only change made this summer is that I am part of the beta running version 9.2.0.0 build 80. The clients are very slow at logging on and taking up to 20 mins to log in if at all, odd clients are picking up other APs.

Since you are beta testing 9.2.0.0 could you check / report to Ruckus issues with Service Scheduling of a WLAN?

For example, a WLAN is configured to switch on at 8am and off at 5pm

In reality it turns on at 7am and off at 4pm - 1 hour out, yes probably BST related - But system event logs are correct and correspond to local current times.

Also, prompt for daylight saving mode has a grammar mistake:

"Automaticlly adjust colck for daylight saving changes"
