KSM Office 2010 Activation error

Hi guys,

 

Was wondering if you could help me.

 

I downloaded God knows how many KSM Office 2010 Pro Plus activators only to have them not work. What happens is that upon clicking one (and any) of the activation/rearm buttons, the command prompt window just briefly pops up and closes in the space of a second. I check my Office each time that appens and nothing has changed. Can anyone shed somelight as to a possible culprit?

Is this home use or work us?

 

Sounds like you are saying you don't have your own valid kms keys and kms server but are using some of the dodgy public ones and if so that's piracy and illegal.

 

Please clarify your position so we can the relevant action.

I'm feeling rather thick about this but I don't believe I have a KMS Server. This process is meant to be done in a standard home use laptop. I take it that I have used public dodgy ones and that they are illegal. Does the need for a KMS Server basically hinder me from using KMS activation then?

KMS is for large office rollouts on a large number of workstations ideally. A KMS needs to be setup which is polled every so often to ensure the serial is still genuine.

Only an organisation with a valid microsoft vlume licence will have their own valid kms key and the ability to run a legal kms server.

 

A home user should be using a copy of office with a retail serial number.

 

If you cannot afford this and wish to stay legal then please d/l a copy of openoffice.
