AB tutor 6.7 and Windows 7

Hi all,

 

When I open up ab tutor on the control pc I am able to find all the machines and connect to them however it will only allow me to watch the screen and not take control what am I missing. Using Windows 7 and AB Tutor Control 6.7.

Working fine on 6.6.2 with Windows 7 here. Do you get an error message or simply nothing happens...?

I have control with 6.7 on Windows 7 x64, but it's a laggy, slow mess. Fine on XP machines though.

Nothing happens I can't get a new control pc to find any machines however if I add the machines manually they'll will then connect however it won't control or show that PC?

This is Windows 7 32bit as well.

How many subnets have you got it set to scan? Whack up the numbers a bit if it's only 1.

We had a strange oddity last week when the tried install abtutor on windows 7 and it would not register. But the connection to windows 7 and windows xp machines worked ok. You might have to uninstall and reinstall.

Got a similar problem with some recent imaged Win7 32bit clients and abtutor version 6.6.2. Finds them fine, connects but lockout take control does nothing.

even stranger is, it's not a problem with some older win7 machines.
