I fancy a trip to the Canary islands in early November for a break from studying, I'm looking for somewhere not too clubby but located close to the beach, restaurants etc. I'm also keen to avoid a sh!t hole Anyone been that can recommend a good spot? Cheers
RabbieBurns Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Never been to Fuerteventura but have been to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife.. Only the latter was the typical english lager louts, the other 2 were nice quiet, relaxed holidays. No idea of where we went tho to be honest, just a last minute teletext deal for cheap
jdoyle Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 been to Caleta de Fuste on Fuerteventura twice. Very nice beach etc. and not far from the airport. V hot. Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura, Canary islands We were on Lanzarote on a later holiday and watched as Fuerteventura got hit by a sandstorm coming off the Sahara.. Our preferred holiday destination now though is Burgau in Portugal.
