Make the home screens identical on a classroom set of iPads?

Hi Guys

 

I have 11 iPads. One is the administrator and 10 are the ones of the class. What I want to do is set up my Admin iPad and have all the other iPads become a clone in terms of icons and icon position. The data can stay on each individual iPad. We have over 150 apps and we do not have time to spend moving each app icon to the right place so that a student can find it in the right place.

 

In other words, how do I make 11 iPads appear the same?

Quick answer

Clear out any old iPad backups from iTunes from within iTunes preference.

Setup your master iPad and then make a backup of it in iTunes.

Turn off auto sync of devices in iTunes's preferences.

Plug in in subsequent iPads and restore from backup made above
