smartboard notebook capture not working on citrix

just had it reported that our version 10.(something) has problems via citrix when trying to capture images into notebook software for teachers to "edit" or add to in the notebook software.

 

works fine on normal pc's which is great when teachers are in school but not when working on files from home via citrix.

 

anyone had this problem, found a fix or knows the right bod to talk to at smart?

you could try this number (0)84 5072 4999 steljes technical if they dont know they should be able to forward you onto someone else who will have a better idea.

did have a reply from them see below - strange thing is for some fokes now its working normally again on citrix

Okay not very helpful then - don’t quite understand smart as they seem to think you have to have all their products for their software to work and to get support which is daft. Other company’s don’t do it because they know they would sell more and be a bigger company if they did support other options.

well at the end of the day if they dont start supporting it, they will lose out on business when teachers just have a micro vm machine running on the far end :-) oh to dream... everyone with a windows 7 vm with projector and smartboard... would save alot of time imaging machine ;-)
