  1. Have you reset the lamp hours? as this sound slike the projector wont start till you have reset the lamp hours can be found in user manual or you should have a little booklet with the replacement lamp that will tell you how to reset the hours. we sell projector lamps and this is a common problem people phone us as the projectors dont work but then when they reset the lamp hours it switches on. Some projectors do this others just turn on as normal and you reset in the menu.
  2. well looks like the kodak 1 i was on about doesnt exist anymore but there is this KODAK EASYSHARE Camera / C1505 which is just a simple point and click however kodak did do one like these which is aimed more at young children The best digital camera for kids (or, how to keep grubby hands off your camera) | ZDNet i know these have amercan prices but you will probably find they are about the same price in uk
  3. whats dd-wrt? there website doesnt really explain what it is and never heard of it before
  4. what about the kodak child range? there supposed to be okay and robust so would probably survive nursery
  5. you could try searching in google i am sure there will be tons available however found this for you maybe of some use, Best Touch Screen Software for Windows 7 | Touch Screen Software if nto maybe go to there homescreen they may have some better sugestions for you
  6. @laserblazer that probably would be much easier and allot more interesting for the pupils great suggestion
  7. Okay not very helpful then - don’t quite understand smart as they seem to think you have to have all their products for their software to work and to get support which is daft. Other company’s don’t do it because they know they would sell more and be a bigger company if they did support other options.
  8. have you tried places like youtube? i am sure there will be loads of amateur ones and possibly porfesional ones as well with in that time frame. there is other sites as well but i would just google video sharing if youtube hasnt got any
  9. you could try this number (0)84 5072 4999 steljes technical if they dont know they should be able to forward you onto someone else who will have a better idea.

  11. wow lucky you, that was a cheap repair and allot better than paying excess and claiming from insurance
  12. ?Have you checked which printer it is going to? SOmetimes certain programs will change which printer it is going to to the printer it thinks it should send it too. I know basic just checking she may not have looked at that. Also is there a settings or otpions tab in powerpoint there maybe some settings in there which are currently stopping it. Other thing to ask is your policies on your server make sure thats not stopping the printer from working on that machine etc...
  13. Yes. Fizzbooks will work and support an XP Network (guess most schools are on XP) BUT only if you but them with the Windows 7 Professional option. As this is recommended to most users anyway (unless desperate to save money and have the expertise) it shouldn't be a problem. See this blog listing why Pro is the better option Fizzbook laptop. Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Pro? Hope this helps
  14. Is Windows 7 any good for business users? we are currently on XP and was wondering if there any any problems with the new windows 7?
  15. The only problem with 'using the tall kid' is that everytime that projector is touched the image moves. We end up returning to a school without a remote after a few months to find a small (zoomed to fit) image that is not 'square' and all because the remote is missing. They are cheaper than they used to be - worth asking for a price, try Lamphouse
