Jambo_C Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hi, I'm trying to run Dreamweaver 2004MX on Windows 7 and get the message "do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to your computer". It then asks for an admin username and password. I've tried turning UAC off, and I've tried altering the permissions on the Dreamweaver folder. This is obviously making it difficult for students to use Dreamweaver. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
Guest TheLibrarian Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I'd guess then it's trying to write to the machine registry. We moved on from 2004MX a while ago because of all the problems it was causing.

tomgrindle Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 The only thing I can think of is that when I open 2004MX on my Windows 7 machine it changes the colour scheme to Windows Basic. Will the students have the required permissions to do this? Tom
