PARS stopped working after latest SIMS summer update release...

Hi All, On friday I updated SIMS with the latest release for this summers exam results etc. Now when I click pars it flashes up loads a little says checking versions and then closes and nothing happens.

 

Any ideas?

Got the same issue here, have you sorted it yet?

More info - what version are you on? If you're not on the latest, go get it and upgrade.

 

Fire off

 C:\Program Files\PARS\bootstrap.exe PARS /V 

from a command prompt for more verbose info. Swapping /V for /M will give you debug* info.

 

* of the "oh dear FSM, I wanted debug info, but not this much" variety.

 

If you're trying to upgrade it via RDP, it'll fall over until you change the value of

 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment\2**\SESSIONNAME

to "console"
