Steve21 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) Hey, Not sure if it's just me, or anyone else getting it. But are there any connection issues recently with EduGeek? Unable to connect to it at all on iPhone using default browser. On desktop it's dropping out every few clicks/refreshes. May just be my connection, but wanted to check Steve Edited October 7, 2011 by ZeroHour 1
robknowles Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Hi, No, not just you I'm having the same issues as well since yesterday afternoon - whether on Chrome on my Macbook or PC with IE 9. Cheers, Rob 2
6Foot2 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I reported the same problem in EduGeek.net Site Problems yesterday: Link: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/edugeek-net-site-problems/80515-pages-require-refresh-before-loading.html I also had to ask a MOD to delete a duplicate post I had created due to delays in refreshing/posting pages [bTW: thanks to whichever MOD did delete the post] 2
ZeroHour Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Not noticed it my end but our host was being DDOS'ed at the datacenter level 2 days ago which was over 20gbps and it knocked us offline for a little then until the rerouted. I will take a gander and see if it has been reported elsewhere. 1

Steve21 Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 Homepage: connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused). :'( Steve
synaesthesia Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 There are major routing problems between Vermin and Hetzner.de currently. Vermin have yet to admit it to me and are adamant it's my PC however hopefully I might get through to someone who knows what a fish is and what the consequences are of being slapped by one. Edit: "Due to a technical fault the shared hosting server www184.your-server.de is not accessible at the moment." Mostly stuff on that hosting server that is affected, however I do route through Hetzner for a lot of stuff I deal with in .de and that side of Europe (mostly IRC) and general routing through that is appalling.
ZeroHour Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Homepage: connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused). :'( Steve Yeh I was delaying starting some services just in case, fixed now. Virgin users please test us now. 1

synaesthesia Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Appears fine now. General routing through Hetzner is still terrible though
