We use this a lot in the distribution module in Karoshi to automate the deployment of our ubuntu desktops across the school (defining partitions, software, users etc). https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/installation-guide/i386/preseed-using.html gives some info. If you would like a copy of the file we use for our desktops just give me a message and i'll send it. Is there a debian/Ubuntu equivalent of RedHat's kickstart for unattended installation? 1
