googlemad Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Windows 7 client, 2008 R2 server, staff roaming profile with certain folder redirections in place to a network location. There is a green circle in the system tray which appears to be Sync Centre, is this required for the setup above or can be it be disabled? As slightly confused why it is coming up to begin with...

Psymon Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 It just means at some point offline files has been used on that account / machine. You could disable offline files in group policy, which would in turn remove the icon in the system tray (only if its not being used of course). Si
