EDIT: Feel free to ignore, just found this.

Morning All.

Really strange one which I really do not know how or why it has come to be, but we have around 60-70 machines which share the same network GUID, which is massively upsetting WDS and therefore we cannot deploy these machines. Has anyone ever seen this before and was a solution ever found.

Thanks in advance.

Download and use the DMI tools refferenced in the blog post linked to in post 3

If WDS works the same way RIS did, it doesn't use the network GUID /UUID it takes that from the motherboard. if you have a motherboard where the GUID / UUID are blank or are all the same as a quick fix you can create a computer account using the network cards MAC address and just add zeros in front of the MAC address to fill the extra characters

Thanks Synack, unfortunately there is only one tool linked and it does not work in DOS. I will keep searching as that article gave me few ideas.

Thanks

AMI bios, tried few different types of software, like dmi236 but it could not change GUID/UUID, came with error.

Already have open case with Gigabyte, hope they can help.

Ah, yea the MB vendor should have the software, gigabyte can be a bit junk on support for older boards. I remember when they used to include the DMI utils on the MB which made it really easy.
