oalcock Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Hello All, I have an RM One 945 laptop at home which I use as a print server / web services server. The AC adaptor is faulty and likes to pop out of place now and again. Does anybody have a working spare one I could buy off them? Or can anybody recommend me a place where I can get them from? Thanks Oliver.
synaesthesia Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Amazon, you'll pick them up for nothing more than a tenner. You can get universal ones (even of decent brand like Antec) for a few quid more. They're the same adapters as the Fujitsu lifebook series if you have any of those lying around.
Andrew_C Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Careful buying from anywhere dubious like Fleabay. A friend bought a Dell replacement and the interference killed all radios for his whole house. On opening the normal sized psu, there was a 2" square circuit board, and a lump of metal to make up the weight. Amazon? Probably OK, but check out the trader. CPC do a wide range of compatibles.
john Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 CCL Computers used to have a good range of generic laptop PSU kits
