I have a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N520 here that has been handed in from a few years ago by a member of staff.

They want it setting up as a sat-nav for the school minibus but there's one major problem... it's password protected, and yes, no one knows the password

Anyway, it's running Windows Mobile 5.0 and I was wondering if there was anyway I could bypass the password screen or boot to a service menu

to disable it? I've searched the net with no luck.

I thought I could solve it by re-installing the OS but when active-sync detects the phone it also asks for the password.

All help is much appreciated (but be nice, I know little about Windows Mobile)

Thanks

Managed to get this sorted. Just resorted to continously trying the hard reset (that I had tried before posting this) over and over without allowing it to boot. This seemed to do the trick.
