CAM Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 However google won't keep pumping money into g+ if not getting money back and of course to get money back it needs to get people from Facebook to view those nice adsense ads and so we are back to Square one.. Google will change its mind when mass exodus from Facebook dosn't happen and g+ not making enough money... We also have to consider the app developers too. They need to make an income from their products which they can't do if they are totally free.

Import all of your facebook/twitter/hotmail contacts into it so you've got a zillion little boxes on your screen. Then go through the 50 or so that are actually using + and put them into circles. My biggest circle is would you believe 'Geek . Next post / share something and see what happens. The best thing i like is that i can share something to a circle, i.e. the geeks, and not have all the friends and family asking lamer questions.

They've been saying profiles are coming to Apps accounts 'soon' since March. I'm not holding my breath. Also in the pipeline is collaboration between Google Apps (primarily Google Docs) and Google Plus, to allow personal accounts to share calendar events and documents. The fact they talk specifically about personal accounts here makes it sounds much more like they are talking about integration with their other web apps, not actual Google Apps accounts.

Same, I refuse to dig up my old gmail account just to use plus. It looks great but i'm not juggling multiple google accounts just because they wont let me have a profile for my @personaldomain.net address
