Researching/costing PCs and laptops. Can any one recommend suppliers in Midlands?

Bit late but we use Stone they offer very good service/ 3 yrs on site warrenty in fact they're offering 5yrs on some deals at the moment. They have also just bought a recycling company so they offer total cradle to grave service.

Stone Computers for our PCs and anyone for laptops depending on spec and price.

 

I agree with cookie_monster - Stone have a very good aftersales service.

We always find Dell beat Stone in hteir quotes

I prefer stone too wouldn't have anything else for the admin PCs (which always need to be up and running)

 

Dell are ok yes the price is better but the service unless servers isn't as quick (mostly for getting through to support I think)

Stone here - Good built machines - imaging service and after sales service are all great.

Dell haven't impresssed me even with their server service it's farmed out to unisys and they're a bit random to say the least. They have a habit of turning up at 5 in the hols even when i've specifically said the school will be shut after 4.30.

A2Z are also good on price but their cases aren't always as rugged as Stone supply.

I must speak as i find and i have always found Dell server service to be very good. As for the laptops as well phone call one day engineer the next.....never had a bit of trouble.

Just to say how useful it is to see so many positives about Stone. They have just visited us and the deal looked OK. May well talk further. Thanks
