  1. Interestingly our original set up of CMIS was on two servers, our LEA support didn't like that, but it did work quite well. We just had to remember to start and stop services in the correct order for the two to cooperate. As in the last post from BarrieDaleNick. The LEA have reconfigured now to run on a single server and I think this is causing more problems than the two server solution. Reckon you are right to do this and will improve the service using the two server solution.
  2. Just to say how useful it is to see so many positives about Stone. They have just visited us and the deal looked OK. May well talk further. Thanks
  3. Too true, I actually joined to look through the stuff on thin client, we have been using this for years now and thought we might find useful information or provide help for others. I simply browsed and found this topic and thought I would post my views, sadly I am now unlikely to participate any more. BYE
  4. Is contink always this arrogant about people who dare to join this forum, . I am not impressed by this response to my genuine comments. I am also annoyed by the comments posted by Webman. read my post it says I was aksed for 8k by another supplier. Is this really a forum just for moaning about anything and everything. AND NO I do not work for INCO.
  5. Hi, just noticed the discussion about INCO and the doubts expressed about just how genuine the positive comments are. I thought it was a lot when I started looking for a system to lighten the load, but you get what you pay for. I must point out that systems as flexible as this one can cost a lot, we had a quote for 8k. I also had cheaper quotes but when I looked at what I was getting, it wasn't comparable. I think people often underestimate how much time and effort it is to maintain an up to date web site. If you want static sites then fine, you don't need this sort of content management system, but if you pln to keep it up to date it is a different story. My school has a website created by and hosted by INCO. The level of service has been excellent, the reduced workload for me and my technicians well worth the fee. The flexibility when creating the site and the features was well worth te cost. I have no axe to grind here, I am a genuine customer who is happy with the quality of the product and support and believe the money was well spent.
