Our Cashless system is provided by Cunninghams, they have there own computers all on the workgroup "Cunninghams"..

We have a network printer installed in thier office and I am struggling to find a way to install the printer on their office computer..

I can install the printer but obviously only after authenticating myself against the domain. This works fine untill the machine is rebooted.

Is there maybe a script that can map the printer on boot? With encrypted credentials?

Is there another method that I should be using? con2prt etc?

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance

cretae a user on the server that has access to one folder (and read only at that) map that folder in a script with appropriate username/password on client and your printer should authenticate

As above, you could manually add the printer separately (create a TCP/IP port) on a computer within the Workgroup. I'm guessing the Workgroup and Domain are all on the same subnet?

I don't believe you can create a 'trust' as such between a Workgroup and a Domain, only Domain to Domain.
