RMC3IEngine Problem

Hello,

 

I need to install RMC3IEngine so i can access the workstations via RMMC but for some reason it wont install on the workstation? HELP.

Error messages? logs? , how are you trying to do it?

Well im installing all the tools in the RMPackage folder and when i went to install the RMC3IEngine it kept rolling back! where would i get the logs?

might be something in the windows logs, start, run, eventvwr

Ive checked nothing there about RMC3IEngine.

Try running this...

 

msiexec /i "Q:\Tools\RMC3IEngine\v1.27.1.0\RMC3IEngine.msi" /l*v C:\RMC3IEngine.log /QB!

On the Server or Workstation?

On the workstation it said it could not be opened!

Is your RMC3IEngine.msi in a different folder on the Q:\ drive?

And is it a CC4 station your trying to install it on, or a normal Windows one?

There is just a C:\ and i access it by:

msiexec /i "\\cc3-dc01\rmpackages\Tools\RMC3IEngine\v1.19.0.0\RMC3IEngine.msi" /l*v C:\RMC3IEngine.log /QB!

On the run bit it rolled back!

Thanks for the log. Based on the errors shown in the first two screenshots I would try deleting everything in your Temp folder and installing the latest version of InstallShield Engine v6.0 (follow the instructions listed under "If the file version number starts with 6" in this article on the InstallShield website).

 

If the MSI still doesn't install, I would download HFXCC3150 from RM's website since this contains the latest version of the RMC3IEngine package (v1.27.1). You may also want to check TEC231797 for other updates.

I tried everything and it still rolled back also i cant access the latest version it says i have insuffesent access.
