[sims] Deploy SIMS via Solus

Hello,

 

I've installed / configured SIMS Solus 3 this evening ready for updating SIMS when we migrate to Windows 7 over the next couple of months.

 

With Solus 3 can I deploy SIMS, or does it just deploy SIMS Updates?

It does both. Including sending out the .net framework required.

I think first you have to send out the update to any existing workstations then in a second pass it will put new installations out.

I#m pretty sure it was mentioned in more detail in a recent thread.

S3 installed? Configure the server, then deploy SIMS Spring 11, then add the workstations. When you add the workstations S3 will push out DotNet4, then install SIMS
