SYNACK Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 You can tell its just a demo though, I did not see that plane catastrophicly nose dive once thanks to bad programming or have it shred its own engines, those features must still be in the initail planning phase 1
FN-GM Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 You know when your on a aircraft and the light shines really bright through the window. So you close the shades. I wonder how it will work with this?

I wonder how it will work with this? In the second video [above] it is implied that there will be gesture responsive technology that will darken the transparent skin of the plane if required.

GrumbleDook Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 You go to the school of @GrumbleDook and wear sunglasses indoors or is that the school of Kashoggi hey GD I took a bit of ribbing last night on twitter about my wearing of shades. At one conference where I was speaking I had been sat at a table with my shades in front of me, next to my MBP. As I got up to speak I picked them up and put them on the top of my head ... just because it is an automatic thing. So yes ... I am so cool I even have my shades on indoors ... even if it is just on top of my head!
Gonk Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 it may just be an idea and may never happen but it is a very impressive idea

Not sure on costs though - prolly very expensive for the first 5 to 10 years, sigh
Jose Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 on the transparent plane, what are the toilet walls made out off

I often get asked "just why do you have your sunglasses on your head all the time" then one particularly sunny fire drill, I got ribbed for it as I was stood there with my shades on .. lol .. Back on topic .. that would be pretty cool ..
