Projector Recommendation for Drama Hall

Our head of Drama has decided that she wants to be able to project onto a screen in our hall during plays. We will need a short through projector as the ceiling in the hall is far too high but there is a section about 2 metres from the screen that it can be hung on. However, she also wants it to be bright enough so that you can see what is on the screen even when the production lights are on the stage,

 

Has anyone any sugestions?

we had the same issue in our Drama hall, i have used the NEC ultra short throw projector U260w and its gone down a treat with the drama teacher.

I would go with the Casio - I've not used there short throw options but there normal ones are really good - and bulbless!

We've got this one and its v.good - InFocus IN1501 - Short throw DLP Projector - 3000 ANSI lumens - XGA (1024 x 768) - 4:3

We borrowed some Sony projectors for a production I worked on. They had changeable lenses so could do a very short throw. Just bare in mind if you're putting stage lighting into the mix you will need a powerful projector. I can't find the exact ones were borrowed, but these a similar.
