I've seen several stories about possible investigations into PFI deals because of the obscene profits but have yet to see anything happen. Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Although it cost £627 million to build, taxpayers will foot a total bill of £2.581 billion – four times the actual cost of the hospital.
