Hi,

Anyone know how to get rid of this, i have 16 laptops with windows 7 on, all 16 have activated the license code without any problems, and windows is listing them correctly as genuine, but i have no (going through them now to make sure there isnt any more) that has in the bottom right Windows 7 Evaluation copy. build 7601.

Anyone know whats going on or how i can remove this, as i said the license is activated ok.

The "Evaluation Copy” watermark means Windows isn't activated. If you were using beta or RC versions of Windows (or service packs) it would say "For testing purpose only" instead.

Try running slmgr -dlv from the command prompt to check the activation status.

I've had this before, I think it was from installing the beta service pack1. Unistall it and install the correct version

Mike you were spot on, though i had downloaded the final sp1.

Many thanks for your reply!
