stevenwba Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Hi, Anyone know how to get rid of this, i have 16 laptops with windows 7 on, all 16 have activated the license code without any problems, and windows is listing them correctly as genuine, but i have no (going through them now to make sure there isnt any more) that has in the bottom right Windows 7 Evaluation copy. build 7601. Anyone know whats going on or how i can remove this, as i said the license is activated ok. Regards
strawberry Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 its a beta version of sp1, not sure if unstalling the beta and installing the full release will solve it?
DellOughta Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I've had this before, I think it was from installing the beta service pack1. Unistall it and install the correct version Mike 1
Arthur Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 The "Evaluation Copy” watermark means Windows isn't activated. If you were using beta or RC versions of Windows (or service packs) it would say "For testing purpose only" instead. Try running slmgr -dlv from the command prompt to check the activation status. 1
