mhussain Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Xp machine will not connect to domain saying "a domain controller for the domain stcep.internal could not be contacted" please help! done release the ip adress and renewed is their anything else its a problerm with the client machine not server

Michael Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Is the IP configuration correct? Primary DNS being your domain controller? I would check there are no firewalls installed on the workstation too.
