4 Year Delivery Date!!

Just looking for a new screen and found one I like just went to check the price on a couple of sites and found that on insight its not due in stock till 5/5/15!!

 

Im not going to wait nearly 4 years for delivery!!

 

I hope its a typo!!

I've noticed this on a number of items. I believe they do it when an item is about to be discontinued or they are currently unsure. Either way why not just remove it from the site or make it temporarily unavailable?

I had a CD on order with Amazon for 2 1/2 years and it did eventually come in. I'm a patient man; it beat my previous Amazon long term order by 1 1/2 years.

 

13 months for London Sinfonietta "Undine" (a DG recording so not an obscure label).

2 1/2 years for Thin Lizzy "Vagabonds Of The Western World" (Decca).

It's a system "feature" - it means they don't have any visibility of delivery dates, but the Purchasing chap has to enter something ...so they always use 5/5/15.

They do pretty good monitors ( assuming I spelt the name correctly ) lol

I got one courtesy of Joe from CPLTD and now having installed it next to two of my 3 year old LCD's the old screens look 'yellow' so i may be having to replace these soon

 

4th May 2015? iphone 9? assuming one a year!!
