Is the EU just concentrated idiocy or are there actual examples of them doing anythig worthwhile?

The EU do do some good, but its difficult to see it when the papers fill their pages with the examples of idiocy. As we all know, people complain about things louder than they praise things.

that is one daft law, i use server side for most of my tracking but it still relies on 1 cookie beeing on the client pc, not looking forward to modifing moodle to so this.

1) Ignore the law.

 

 

I can see that being the standard response.

 

 

I told our ICT Co-ord about this and was told "we hire someone to take care of it... if it breaks the law it's on them and not us."

 

Apparently, ignorance IS a legitimate defence.
